Hyrule Warriors Co-Op Review

Dynasty Warriors games have been generally successful for many years and through multiple console generations. Spinoff series, using the same basic gameplay elements, have had similar modest success, including Dynasty Warriors Gundam and Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage. Now, the beloved Legend of Zelda franchise has received a Dynasty Warr...

Hyrule Warriors to Feature a 2-player Co-op Mode

We recently news regarding Nintendo's teamup with the famous Dynasty Warriors team, Tecmo Koei, and their epic creation, Hyrule Warriors, went up a few days ago. Not only will the game feature Link battling dozens upon dozens of enemies at once, something he isn't really known for, but it will also have a 2-player local co-op mode (not really known for that either)!

Nintendo Reveals How Zelda and Dynasty Warriors Will Merge in 2014

Many Legend of Zelda fans out there have been waiting in anticipation for news on the next (new, not remake) Zelda title on Wii U. Zelda: Four Swords Coming to DSiWare... For Free!

At Nintendo's E3 conference, a brief little snippet was dropped that was good news for co-op fans.  The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures will be released in the DSiWare store this fall, for free.  Released originally as a bonus with the GBA version of A Link to the Past, the game was remade and released for the Gamecube, using the quirky GBA link cable to great effect.  We covered this version of the game here.  It had long been rumored that a DS remake was in the works, and now it appears the rumor is becoming fact.  Recently, Nintendo confirmed that the DSiWare release will be the GBA version.  This is unfortunate, as the Gamecube remake was a significant upgrade, particularly visually.  Still, free is free, and the core gameplay of four Links running around solving puzzles together is awesome, regardless.  DSi and 3DS owners can look forward to Four Swords this September.

Co-Op Gaming to Help the Blind

Video games are for the most part a 4 sense experience - touching, feeling, hearing, and seeing.  But not all gamers are so lucky to experience everything a game has to offer, and perhaps the most difficult for those handicapped are the blind.  Without the ability to see they must rely on their other senses to get through the game's they love so much.
