Grab your dwarven friends and commence to mining!

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Is Now Available on PlayStation 5 and PC

We're always excited for the chance to return to Middle Earth, even if the style and quality of the games based on Tolkein's LOTR universe vary wildly. The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria from Free Range Games and North Beach Games first launched on the Epic Games Store for PC, and now the PlayStation 5 version is finally available as well. Are you ready to descend into the mines of Moria with your online co-op friends?

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Will Dig Into Consoles and PC This Fall

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria from Free Range Games and North Beach Games is a real "monkey's paw" situation. We wished for a new cooperative LOTR game, and we're getting one! That's good. But it will be a survival/crafting game in which players have to manage hunger and all that busywork. Not as good! Still, the game has a strong premise and a cool universe to its name, so we'll keep an open mind. Also, whereas Return to Moria was initially announced for PC only,  it will now be launching on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles too!

The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game (formerly The Living Card Game) saw its full release on the PC a couple weeks ago, so for this week's "Let's Play Co-Op" stream, Tally and Jason dove in to see how this interpretation fairs against the tabletop version.

[E3 2019] - The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game Gets Name Change, Release Date

About a year and a half ago, we heard that Asmodee Digital was working on bringing Fantasy Flight's The Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game to PC and Mac sometime in 2018. It was delayed a bit, and has a new name, but The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game will be arriving soon on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch this August!

Games With Gold Sale Is Co-Op Overload

Games with Gold has gone nuclear. Maybe they heard the cries of impoverished co-op gamers everywhere. Maybe somebody down at Microsoft accidentally hit the "Slash Prices" button. Maybe it's been a while since the last Steam sale and everybody's getting really antsy around all these full priced games. Regardless of the reason, both the Xbox One and the 360 are getting tons of love this month with some sick discounts on  killer co-op games.
