Diablo 3 has gotten a new patch which brings a major change to co-op gameplay.  Previously as more players joined your game, the difficulty of monsters would scale up - this included not only their health but their damage.  The patch has removed the damage scaling but left the health scaling in tact.  It's a curious change, one that Blizzard hopes encourages players to play co-op more.  The patch also makes pots drop less gold than before.  I guess calls from the anti-pot destruction league worked.

Owners of those shiny silver computers emblamized with a white fruit can now get their hands on id's RAGE for OSX.  The game has been ported to the Macintosh operating system in all it's glory in what's being called RAGE: Campaign Edition.  There's one problem - there's no co-op play.

Good news today for those of you on Apple's platform that like to conquer the world - Civilization V is available to purchase as well as download via Steam.  While the game originally was unconfirmed to offer Steamplay support, that means you can run the game on either Mac or PC just by purchasing either version, Aspyr Media have announced full Steamplay support at launch.  

The beta for Tidalis, a unique co-op puzzler from Arcen Games, launched a few weeks back - but upon initial launch it was missing several cooperative features.  Arcen has announced that the latest version includes multi-well co-op play as well as several other improvements to the game.

It was the end of last year when Arcen Games, makers of AI War: Fleet Command, told us they had two cooperative titles in the pipeline for 2010.  The first was called A Valley Without Wind, which was a take on the tower defense genre.  The game has since been bumped to 2011, but the second was an unnamed puzzle game with an addictive but simple mechanic.  Today Arcen has named the puzzle game and announced a beta starting very soon.
