Xbox One November Update Looks To Change The Way You Play With Friends.

November looks to be a big month for Microsoft, with its Xbox One side of things thanks to a major update that will be bringing backwards compatibility to the general public and an upgrade to the systems UI. This revitalization to the system is being powered by Windows 10 and looks to be the biggest and most user friendly update in the Xbox Ones history.

New Xbox Live Features Announced at E3, Cloud Storage and Beacons

Microsoft seems to have missed the boat on a few things during their E3 2011 Press Briefing, namely two great features we spotted in a post conference press release of upcoming goodies.  While the demonstration were heavy on Kinect titles and enhancements there was a lot of time spent on the new dashboard and a focus on how the 360 will become a central hub for family entertainment across all mediums.

Xbox 360 Fall Dashboard Update Is Live

The fall update for the Xbox 360 dashboard is now Live.  The next time you fire up your Xbox 360 consoles you'll be prompted for the update which not only aesthetically changes your dashboard, it'll add a bunch of new features including Netflix Search, Zune Music, ESPN integration, and most importantly for, you know... people that actually use the console to play games - improved voice chat quality.

Microsoft Launching Xbox 360 Dashboard Preview Program this Fall

Microsoft plans to launch a revamped version of its dashboard for the Xbox 360 this fall, coinciding with the launch of their Kinect peripheral.  Much like they did with the last major update, they are inviting users to test the dashboard before its released to the general public.  According to Major Nelson, the Preview Program will give you the chance to check out ESPN on Xbox LIVE, Zune music, Netflix search, the new Xbox LIVE dashboard, and new updates to Zune video and Family Settings on your Xbox 360.
