I’m a big fan of Orcs Must Die! and its co-op sequel, Orcs Must Die! 2 (henceforth OMD2). I had a blast with OMD2 when it came out two months ago (as can probably be seen with the 5 out of 5 I gave it), but since then the “other twos” (other big titles that end with the number two) have sucked my attention away from this humorous, action-driven tower defense game. This week, however, I had the excuse of diving back into the game with the recently released “booster pack,” Family Ties .
Robot Entertainment just announced today that they will be releasing their second booster pack for Orcs Must Die! 2 tomorrow (September 26th). Entitled Family Ties, the DLC will offer a hefty amount of new stuff for orc slayer fans.
Robot Entertainment have announced a sequel to last year's addictive tower defense action game, Orcs Must Die. Orcs Must Die! 2 kicks the orc slaying up to 11 with an all new spell book loaded with traps and summons as well as a new character, the female Sorceresses. Joining the War Mage, players can play as either character in the game's cooperative campaign.
This year's PAX East 2011 show floor was jam packed full of gamers and gaming goodness. The show saw a record breaking 69,500 atendees - the biggest PAX convention on any coast to date. Despite that many people the new convention center was wide open with plenty of space. With that many people and that many things to see we don't always get a lot of in depth time with soemthing. Still, there were plenty of things we saw that we want to share with you.
