Borderlands is still on the brain.  Freshly patched too!

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "Borderlands and then some Borderlands.  Also Left 4 Dead 2 Demo and Unwrapping Uncharted 2 for double the cash!.  "

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "We're having a party tonight, so the crowd pleasing Rock Band and Guitar Hero titles will get some heavy play.  I suspect the older guys will join me on the MAME cabinet.  When it's just us, Spyborgs will be the game of choice."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "I've finally gotten around to booting up some Halo 3: ODST campaign, so I'll be working on that a bit. There's also Borderlands and South Park: GO Tower Defense to co-op with on this nice snowy indoor weekend."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I will be playing as much Borderlands as humanly possible as long as my co-op partners are around!  Barring that, I'll be playing some Half-Minute Hero on PSP and Brutal Legend."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I need to get some more time on Operation Flashpoint 2 if possible, and I have a sudden desire to play Skate 2, which I skipped last weekend."

Loren "AgtFox" Halek - "Playing NBA Live 10, Halo 3: ODST and maybe some other stuff."

Ok, so maybe only a few of the staff are playing Borderlands, but I can guarantee you the rest wishes they were. 

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "Borderlands and then some Borderlands.  But probably some Borderlands.  I do plan on checking out some more CitiesXL and finishing Brutal Legend.  Then perhaps some Borderlands."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "This weekend, it's all about new content for older games: the Duels of the Planeswalkers expansion, the Queen Rock Band pack, and Abbey Road!"

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "I'll be wrapping up some beyond co-op with Star Wars: Force Unleashed, as well as caving to the peer pressure and getting in on some Borderlands action at some point soon."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I'll be playing some more Persona for PSP, some co-op matches in Uncharted 2, and put in some more time on the Final Fantasy 12 replay I foolishly decided to start with Dragon Age looming on the horizon."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "It's a bit of a birthday extravaganza this weekend as my family celebrates my parents' and brother-in-law's glorious entrances into the world. If I do get a chance to play a game, I'll probably play some Skate 2 in preparation for something special for Co-Optimus."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I plan on picking up Skate 2 as well. I'll almost surely play some CoD 4: Modern Warfare at some point, and maybe a few songs on family favorite Guitar Hero 5. Oh, and -- I need to keep working on the Operation Flashpoint 2 campaign, if anyone's up for it"

Loren "AgtFox" Halek - "Going to attempt to finish Brutal Legend and possibly go back and play Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, its PSN sequel Quest for Booty and CoD4: Modern Warfare all to get ready for their new iterations I'll probably have to review."

Despite the plethora of games, everyone seems to want to get back into some Firefight action in Halo 3.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "Dawn of War 2 tonight and hopefully some Firefight otherwise."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I'll be hitting up some Last Stand in Dawn of War II as well as testing out the retail co-op modes in Uncharted 2, now that I've beaten the single-player."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - This weekend is pretty busy, but after hearing my kids singing along during Beatles Rock Band co-op night, I'd guess that will be the game of choice this evening, along with whatever else the kiddo wants to play."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "This weekend will wrap up Mini Ninjas, and hopefully crack open some Prince of Persia or the campaign for Halo 3: ODST. "

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "I plan on playing more AI War and, of course, the new Last Stand mode in DoW II. Kudos to Relic for giving me a new reason to be completely addicted to that game. I'll also be wrapping some things up in Brutal Legend, and possibly playing some Firefight in Halo 3: ODST."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'll be playing Borderlands at the Gearbox launch party, and that will probably be it. If I get the chance, I'll hit Halo 3 ODST and Operation Flashpoint 2."

With so many great games out, it's hard to choose which one to play.  Even worse, it's hard to find time to play them!

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "Going to check out some AI War, and probably some Guitar Hero 5.  Maybe squeeze in some Firefight if I'm lucky."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "I'd like to play through Left 4 Dead Crash Course and maybe some Survival mode with my oldest son.  Other than that, it'll probably be Beatles Rock Band and Guitar Hero 5."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "Will hopefully get time for some Mini Ninjas between finalizing remodeling stuff...I miss gaming, and especially co-op time!"

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I will be playing a ton of PSP titles this weekend, including Thexder Neo, Persona and Obscure: The Aftermath"

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "I believe I shall be wrapping up the Halo 3: ODST campaign this weekend; maybe get in a game or two of Firefight. I'll also be getting in some co-op with A.I. War."

Is it really October 2nd already?  Holy moly!  Everyone seems to be pretty busy, but there's always time for gaming...right?

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I will be playing the PHP/MySQL developer game all weekend because I'm going to be stuck at work. If I get some free time, I will try to get some games of Firefight going. "

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - " I believe I will finally get my XBox 360 hooked up again and will be on an all out XBox bender. Starting with Sol Survivor, and then carrying through to Halo 3:ODST, which I need to catch up on in a big way. I will also be attempting to finish up my complete runthrough of Fallout 3; 40+ hours committed to that game, I think I can safely say I got everything out of it."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'm sure I will be harangued into playing more Guitar Hero 5, which I really don't mind at all. I also plan to grab MotorStorm: Arctic Edge and some PSN downloads for my PSP Brite"

If the Co-Optimus staff had an office together, I'm pretty sure it would be filled with the sounds of ODST marines shooting/grenading/rocketing/hammering Brutes and Grunts right about now. You see, we kind of dig it.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I plan on playing plenty of ODST Firefight after an epic Co-Op Night.  Also going to get ready for the hockey season with NHL10."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I will attempt to work my way through Halo 3: ODST's campaign while fighting the urge to accept all of the Firefight requests I know will be incoming.  If things go well, I'll probably also join Nick in some NHL10, and play more Scribblenauts."

Marc "djinniman" Allie - "More Halo 3: ODST and Beatles Rock Band for me. Maybe even play as Cap's side in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "If I'm lucky enough to get to game this weekend, it'll likely be Halo 3: ODST campaign, or Overlord 2."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'm in the Halo 3: ODST crowd -- I'll be playing the campaign to get some more character skins, and as much Firefight as I can fit in. I'll also be checking out the Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker PSP demo and Ion Assault on XBLA."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "My weekend is actually going to be fairly busy so I may not have a chance to do much gaming. If I can work a little in between things, I'll likely be playing more Fallout 3 or Trine."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "Like Mike, I'll be playing Scribblenauts as well, although perhaps with a little less enthusiasm. I'll also be continuing my sojurn through the Capital Wasteland as an evil sonuvagun that enjoys exploding people's pants."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'll be putting up a delayed Battlefield Report on Saturday, and I'm sure to get some Guitar Hero 5 and Call of Duty 4 in somewhere."

Loren "AgtFox" Halek - "May take a weekend off of playing games.  If not, probably finish off Shadow Complex and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows that I didn't finish last weekend."

Most of the team has been in a plastic bubble, trying not to get family sick from their little run in with PAX POX.  With the fall weather fast approaching now's a good time to catch up on some gaming!

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - " I'll be playing through more of the Halo 3 campaign with the Internet's very own Mike Katsufrakis. I've also been continuing to play through Fallout 3; something about wandering through a desolate wasteland and killing mutants while you're sick is cathartic."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'm going to have a busy weekend, but I'd like to get some more of GTA IV's story finished, and I'll almost definitely play some Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron on my PSP to alleviate some self-hype aches. The rest is open."

Loren "AgtFox" Halek - "Probably play Shadow Complex now that I purchased it, some Madden 10, attempt to finish off Spider-Man: Web of Shadows and get ready for next week's busy release list."

Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!  PAX is A WEEK AWAY.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I'll be knee deep in PAX Planning, when I'm not I'll be playing Invincible Tiger and maybe some Halo 3.  I'd like to squeeze in some Sins of a Solar Empire as well."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "I finally got the MAME cabinet up and running, so I'd guess there will be some Marvel Super Heroes and Vendetta in the mix.  I'm looking to finish up G.I. Joe this weekend as well.  "

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "It looks like my weekend will be full of a lot of homework, so I'll maybe only have time to squeeze in some Halo 3 or I'm not even sure what else. So, fingers crossed for some Halo time!"

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I am going to play the everloving hell out of Batman: Arkham Asylum.  If I finish that, or decide to put it down for some reason, I'll play some Dissidia on PSP or perhaps the Professor Layton sequel."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "Unfortunately, my schedule will be kind of crazy his weekend so I won't be able to do much co-op gaming. So instead, I too will be playing Batman: Arkham Asylum until I break down, don a Batman outfit, and disturb my neighbors by perching on their balconies. Aside from that, I might also try wrapping up the 2nd episode of Tales of Monkey Island."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'll be home alone most of the weekend, so gaming prospects are high. I'm looking forward to some 'Splosion Man, Battlefield Bad Company, and maybe a few Batman: Arkham Asylum challenges."

Loren "AgtFox" Halek - "With Batman: Arkham Asylum out of the way, I'll be concentrating on Wolfenstein for a CoG review on Monday.  May play some Shadow Complex as well since I was on vacation when it came out and I had to put Batman and Wolfestein ahead of it.  Also might play some Madden now that my 360 is back from the repari shop.  Window is only open so much before the September game storm comes."

It feels like a good weekend to catch up on some missed gaming.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "Need to play a bit more Madden before my review.  Other than that I'm pretty undecided.  I'd LIKE to play some Halo 3 matchmaking, bu the playlists don't agree with my lack of DLC."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "Because I love pain so much, I'm finishing Watchmen part 2.  If I survive the experience, it's Guitar Hero therapy, and maybe even a few rounds of the Lost Planet 2 demo."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "I'll jump on the good old bandwagon with a bit of Shadow Complex to start, then move on to Halo 3 to get some more of those new achievements they added on. For lunch I think I'd like some Madballs in...Babo: Invasion (someday I'll finish that campaign, but in the meantime I just want to play with my balls), and desert will likely be Crackdown."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "I will be playing an as-of-yet undecided co-op game with Jason as well as Tales of Monkey Island: The Siege of Spinner Cay.  Mmmm, pirates."

Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love - "It's another weekend up to the folks' (this time to visit with my brother and his family), so there won't be too much gaming. What gaming I do do will be some co-op game with Mr. Katsufrakis and some Siege of Spinner Cay."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I'm sure my wife will force me to play more 'Splosion Man co-op, and I plan to try the Section 8 demo and run through the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo again. Anything else will be spur-of-the-moment"
