Earlier this week we had the opportunity to check out Back 4 Blood, the latest from Turtle Rock Studios. During their sneak peek event we played through a PVP session and a lengthy co-op campaign. My initial thought was "how do you improve on a pillar of co-op gaming like Left 4 Dead?" After playing for a couple hours, I can say it has a lot of cool things going for it.
There's been almost 10 Earth Defense Force games released since Earth Defense Force 2017 came out on the Xbox 360, but one thing has remained constant in the series - the sense of scale. That was the answer given by series creator and producer on Earth Defense Force: World Brothers, Nobuyuki Okajima. Yesterday, we got an exclusive first look at the making of the art and story for Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. Today, we've got a short hands-on preview to share courtesy of our own Locke Vincent.

In anticipation of its imminent "release" to the world, we spoke with a few folks from Nvizzio about the game and what players can expect/look forward to once it's available.
Ghost Ship Games' Deep Rock Galactic bounced around in a variety of alpha and beta tests last year, and while the title may not be at the "final version" stage, it will be available for all to play starting on February 28. It will be entering Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview simultaneously on that day, so you can pick it up and play on your platform of choice.
After playing several hours of Dauntless Early Access (both during the Founder’s Alpha and the Closed Beta), I wanted to share some of my preliminary impressions of the game for those who have not invested in Founder’s Packs. It’s important to stress that since the game is still in Closed Beta, this is not a review, and I fully ex...
