The PC Version of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel lands on store shelves today, as well as online digital services Impulse and Steam, but Co-Optimus has another way for you to get in on the co-op friendly title.
Thanks to some very friendly PR folks we have two special prize packs to give away. Each pack contains a Collector's Edition of Sacred 2, two Sacred 2 T-Shirts, two Sacred 2 lanyards, and two Sacred 2 gaming mouse pads. Say that fast 3 times! That's right each prize pack has swag for both you and your co-op partner! And the best part is, you'll only need one copy of the game to play for a day!
How do you win? Simple. Just leave us a comment. We'll pick the winners this Friday at Noon Eastern. We'll have more Sacred 2 coverage for you later this week!

The PC version of Sacred 2 may have a 16 player co-op mode, and a 4 player co-op story mode - but that doesn't necessarily mean at your next LAN party you'll need 16 copies.
The game's publisher, CDV, has announced that Sacred 2's DRM features a "Try before you Buy" feature that allows your copy of the game to be installed and fully playable for one day on any PC. At the end of that day the user has the option to purchase the game, or simply uninstall it. This is the perfect solution at LAN parties for use during the mad scramble to see if there's enough copies and keys of a game available.
Sacred 2 hits Windows PCs on November 11th and comes out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February.

It sure isn't easy being undead these days. Whether it's Call of Duty and it's zombie mode, or Left 4 Dead and it's full co-op campaign - the undead have to keep their head down for risk of being re-dead.
Now the undead need to watch out for another game, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. With 16 player co-op on the PC and 4 player co-op on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, there's a lot for those undead to worry about. The latest trailer taken from the game's intro shows off a handful of the in game characters teaming up to beat down swarms of bony bad guys. All I'll say is a giant hammer and brittle bones don't mix well for one of the parties involved.

It's been sometime since we talked about Sacred 2, and with good reason. There are some updates regarding the 16 player PC co-op title, and the 4 player co-op 360 and PS3 version.
Despite an earlier claim, Sacred 2 didn't quite hit PC shelves here in North America. The game was delayed a bit, and should find it's way to retailers in mid to late November. The console versions were delayed even further, and currently have a February 10th release date.
In similar news, CDV and Atari have come to a publishing agreement for North America, and that includes the aforementioned Sacred 2. The full press release is posted after the jump.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel hits the PC next week complete with 16 player co-op! To celebrate the folks at CDV have teamed up with German metal group Blind Guardian to create an in engine/CGI music video. What ensues is a rockin good time. I wonder, can we hold concerts for our friends in the final build of the game?
