After getting teased over and over again about the co-op zombie mode in the forthcoming Call of Duty: WWII, developer Sledgehammer Games has finally given up the goods. The "Nazi Zombies" mode will be released alongside the game on November 3 and the team has been working to make a "frightening world full of terrifying characters and events that will make you jump and look over your shoulder."
Sega had a little shindig for their iconic hedgehog this past weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate his 25 years in the gaming scene. The event was.... interesting? Regardless of that, two new games were announced that will see release next year: Project Sonic and Sonic Mania.

G4 TV sat down with the producer and director of Lost Planet 2 to ask them about what to expect from the co-op experience. Since we have that interview in video form, I'll just mention a few highlights. The Co-op experience for Lost Planet 2 takes a lot into consideration from the development of Resident Evil 5. Only this time, you won't have a cohesive path to follow! Each player can pick up different weapons and take a different approach at defeating enemies, making your co-op experience in Lost Planet 2 feel customizable depending on who you play with!
There's a new video from the San Diego Comic-Con show floor that shows Pixel Junk's next co-op creation called Pixel Junk Shooter.
Stan Lee, creator of all things good in the Marvel universe, will play a crucial role in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 when the game launches on September 15th. This will be the comic creator's first video game appearance after a cameo in nearly every Marvel related movie in recent years.
Dead Space Extraction for the Wii is two player co-op title being shown on the San Diego Comic-Con show floor. The folks at Game Videos managed to snag some footage of it in action. The game looks gorgeous and seems to have a pretty frantic pace to it. I think this might be one of those must own Wii titles that a lot of folks overlook.
The San Diego Comic-Con doesn't offically start until today, and all attendees will get their chance to check out the latest level from Left 4 Dead 2 called Swamp Fever. But a lucky few, oh those lucky few, they got to check the game out last night. More importantly they got to film them playing the game last night - and promptly uploaded it to the interwebs!
