Last night was the Spike TV Video Game Awards, or the VGAs. And while the spectacle was about gaming, the focus tends to be on the hollywood glamour and glitz of celebs attending. Hosted by Jack Black the entire thing was a mildly entertaining experience. The highlights for me personally were trailers for Mafia 2 and Uncharted 2.
Co-Op did take home some big winnings including Left 4 Dead winning best PC game, Gears of War 2 for best Xbox 360 game, and Little Big Planet winning best PS3 game. Grand Theft Auto IV won game of the year, and even though co-op isn't the focus of the game, it's nice to know it does offer it.

Spike TV holds its Video Game Awards every year, and every year they surpass the expectations of the unappreciative musclehead idiots that watch two episodes of "Manswers" but change the channel in the middle of The Who's "CSI: New York" title theme.
