In the age of streaming in Twitch, it's important that you have a good quality microphone to pick up your chat audio. While most headsets these days do come with a solid mic, there's just something to be said about a true condenser microphone. Enter the ROCCAT Torch, a flashy desktop microphone with LED lighting, dual condenser mics, and a few really nice features that should make this a great addition to your streaming setup.

It's been a few years since we've checked out a product from Blue Microphones, the Yeti was the last mic we checked out in 2015. Today we've got impressions of an updated version of that mic alongside of their flexible desktop mounted boom called the Compass. 

Live streaming is all the rage these days and there are a variety of services, like Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Smashcast, that allow gamers to watch others or show off their own gaming skills to others. Microsoft has been working on their own service, originally called "Beam," that's gotten a major overhaul along with a new name. Now called "Mixer," four gamers can pool their streams together into one broadcast (dubbed "co-streaming") for some co-op friendly streaming.

Local co-op is great. You get to sit down with friends, play some lag-free games, and save your best curses for online co-op. The catch is that you have to haul everybody over to your place to get said gaming sessions going. Worse still, you usually have to put on pants for those sessions, and that's just not right. Good thing Nvidia is working on something that might fix that limitation.

A few years ago Elgato released a device called the Game Capture HD. The small device allowed gamers to capture video from their Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or other HDMI device right into their PC. Today the company have released a new version of it, the Elgato Game Capture HD60. It's a minor update to an already great product with the biggest improvement being the ability to capture 1080p 60fps video.
