After the first two titles made the transition, it's not too much of a surprise that The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III is on its way to the Xbox One. The final chapter in the action-RPG trilogy should be arriving sometime this year.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III bears the weight not only of its predecessors but of “loot grind” Action RPGs as a whole. While there are some great moments and interesting mechanics, the title as a whole never quite reaches that velocity to escape from the mire of mediocrity....

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III hit Steam last week, being the third game in the series if you've played the previous two you should know what to expect. It's totes the line very closely of the last game with quirky humor, varied characters and skills, and tons of meta elements to manage.

There's something to be said about the consistency of the name The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III. The other two games were simply The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, so that makes sense. However, I've got to applaud NeocoreGames for not succumbing to the use of the subtitle, mostly because I get confused easily. There's no need to do away with numerals and slap on :Wrath of the The Vampire Puncher or :Dance Away the Darkness. Just go with numbers, people. It's how we count.
