A sweet new trailer announcing the release date for Transfomers: Fall of Cyberton has landed at Gamespot. It looks incredible -- if you're into quick cuts and roboticide. I know, I know, who isn't? I don't even mind the dubstep. This is one of the few videos where the devil's disco is appropraite, because it sounds like robots murdering each other. Check out the 'splosions and stuff. The release date is at conveniently located at the end of the video, as well as this article.
Things have not been going well for Transfomers: Fall of Cybertron. Sure, it's the sequel to what many believe is one of the greatest Transfomers games ever made. It had a fantastic debut trialer at last year's VGAs, and it features everyone's favorite Dinobot, Grimlock. What could go wrong?
Bad news (again), PC gamers. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron won't be coming to that fancy keyboard-and-mouse console known as the Personal Computer. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, since last fall we heard that the next Transformers game would be dropping the co-op campaign. Nevertheless, it's still disappointing to continually see PC gamers being left on the side of the road, and in this case the reasons are also alarming.
Disappointing news today as the official Game Informer issue has reached Co-optimus HQ bearing the bad news about the upcoming Transformers game. According to their exclusive preview article of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, the game is dropping the three player co-op campaign that was a staple of the previous game in the series.
I am a Transformer purist at heart, enjoying the original teams of Autobots and Decepticons the most. As the years progressed more and more strange Transformer types were added; from Dinobots to Fairytwinklecons. One group that stood out were the Combaticons and their ability to form into the giant Bruticus. According to GameStop, Bruticus will stomp his way into Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. As an added bonus High Moon Studios have also released a teaser trailer for the game.
Transformers: War for Cybertron was one of the best co-op experiences of last year, allowing up to three players to pound Cybertron into rubble. The latest Game Informer magazine has announced that a sequel is coming in 2012; Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
