While there is quite a bit of buzz in the air today for Microsoft's big reveal of the next Xbox, Sony is working on putting out as much information as possible to get folks excited for the PlayStation 4. This includes discussion of the console port of the popular action-RPG, Diablo 3, which recently celebrated a year anniversary since it first saw release on the PC. A console port of the game seemed highly unlikely at first, despite the great deal of speculation, but along with the announcement of the PS4 came the bit of news that had thousands across the internet shouting "I KNEW IT!" This was immediately followed by a thousand more cynical statements of, "psh, it'll never work. PC MASTER RACE!"

An early playable version of the game was available at the recent PAX East event and Tally provided some of her impressions of what she liked from her time with it. One of the big items that came from this play session was the change to the overall UI. PC players are well familiar with all of the in-game menus you can bring up to check your skills, inventory and character stats, achievements, etc., and are likely just as familiar with how much of the screen those menus consume. Blizzard wanted to provide as fluid a UI for console players as possible so you didn't get frustrated switching gear in and out. Three of the developers from Blizzard that are working on the console version, John Hight, Josh Mosqueira, and Jason Bender, discuss these changes in a recent video on PlayStation's YouTube channel.

Stop me if you've heard this before: Call of Duty DLC that has been available on the Xbox 360 for a month is now available on PS3 and PC. You have to love those timed exclusives. CoD: Black Ops 2's "Uprising" map pack includes four new multiplayer maps and a new co-operative Zombie map. 

The new versus maps are titled Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio. The new Zombie scenario, Mob of the Dead, takes place on Alcatraz. Ray Liotta, Chaz Paminteri, Joe Pantoliano, and Michael Madsen will be play the role of (you guessed it) mobsters. 

The Fuse "launch" trailer is now live. The game doesn't come out for like a week and a half so that's... weird. Why do I have the feeling there's going to be another trailer? The video offers a sliver of back story and features the prerequisite cool weapon footage and an abundance of explosions, faceless bad guys, and exploding faceless bad guys. I know, I know, it's still not Overstrike, but it looks like it has potential to be a pretty decent squad-based shooter. 

Thunder Wolves is coming to Steam in a few short hours. This action/shooter will allow you and a co-op partner to play the roles of pilot and gunner in a variety of helicopters. We have a new gameplay trailer submitted for your approval. I have to say, I'm a little confused as to what sort of tone the developers, Most Wanted Entertainment, are going for.  

The new trailer makes the game look like an arcadey, almost cartoony, romp. An older video from April gave the title a much more cinematic feel. Then there was the announcement trailer, back when the game was going to be published by Ubisoft, where Thunder Wolves was portrayed as an annoying, bro-y, spectacle. 

You may have seen some info on the free Soul Sacrifice DLC heading our way later this month. You may have even noticed the poster below in your local Gamestop. It's true: several new bosses have been confirmed as free DLC with eight of them having been identified.  I would have mentioned something earlier, but I've been playing the game so much I forgot to write about it. This is easily my pick up and play guilty pleasure of the year (so far). If you haven't been keeping up with your Avalon Pacts, check out the image below and get an eyeful of the grotesque monsters soon to be marked for extermination. 

It is only one day until any Borderlands 2 player willing to drop $9.99/800MSPs will get to meet the new Psycho character, Krieg.  He is lean, mean and ultra-keen to cleave you in two.  This new video highlights some of the skills that Krieg brings to the band of Vault Hunters - they mostly consist of the ability to run straight at the enemy and take a Bullymong of damage.

Atlus has released the second character gameplay trailer for the upcoming four player co-op brawler, Dragon's Crown. The video features the modest battletrix, the Amazon warrior. Her lack of armor and long polearm allows for powerful, agile attacks which have the enemies spinning.

Civilization V's next expansion pack is entitled Brave New World, it's the second fully feature content expansion for the game adding nine new civilizations, eight new wonders, two new scenarios, four new gameplay systems and dozens of new units. This isn't your kid's DLC folks.

Co-Optimus didn't get to check out PAX East this year in full, so we missed the unveiling of Saints Row IV. The game was on display on the show floor with a hands off demo which showcased all of the game's new features. Lucky for us, Deep Silver have released the entirety of the demo in video form and put it on the interwebs - isn't technology grand?

Saints Row IV is looking more and more like it belongs in the Crackdown universe - and that's not a bad thing. We already know the game will gift players with super powers like leaping tall buildings, flying, and the ability to glow, but now we're seeing enemies that look pretty similar to the infected folks of Crackdown 2. The latest trailer for the Saints Row IV is called "Meet the President" and we'll let it speak (as well as wub wub) for itself.

Today we have two new trailers from Vanillaware's 2D brawler, Dragon's Crown. The side-scrolling fantasy game features six playable characters, two of which are on display here. The epic will focus on cooperation and replayability.

The Fighter is a tank of a man, wielding a sword and shield while being protected by a massive suite of armor. He also has tiny little legs. The Sorceress, well, who needs armor when you've got magic? What she lacks in protection she makes up for with pizzazz. Yeah. That's what I'm calling them. 

The second map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, titled "Uprising," was released a couple weeks back on the Xbox 360. This $15 pack included with it a new co-op mode, Mob of the Dead, that kept with the Black Ops zombie theme we've previously seen, but with an Italian twist this time around. Set in the 1920s on the well-known prison island of Alcatraz, players step into the role of one of four gangsters (each voiced by a famous celebrity) and try to fight their way out. Nasty traps, gnarly weapons, and plenty of barbed wire covered undead inmates lie in wait for you and your friends.

If you own the 360 version of the game, then you're likely already familiar with Billy Handsome, Al "The Weasal" Arlington, Salvatore "Sal" DeLuca, and Michael "Finn" O'Leary. If you own the game for PC or PS3 and have been eagerly awaiting that May 16 date for the DLC to drop, then here's a chance to get to know these wise guys a little better in the latest character trailer.

Another day, another character bio trailer for Scourge: Outbreak.  This time it is the very Olde English sounding character called Stonewall.  You may think that his power is a detailed knowledge of Hadrian's Wall, but you would be wrong.  He is in fact a rounded Biotech character that you can use in this 4 player co-op shooter coming soon to PC, PSN and XBLA.

Dead Island: Riptide is on store shelves, and it's definitely more the same gameplay we saw in Dead Island. This can be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on how you feel about the original game. Personally, I loved the first title, despite its flaws. What can I say? I really like chopping up zombies. 

The new Star Trek game hit store shelves yesterday. Kirk and Spock, along with the rest of the crew of the Enterprise, will find themselves at odds with the Gorn, a race of rather awesome-looking humanoid lizards. This new trailer is full of action and sweet sound effects from the rebooted franchise. It features all the assorted pings and pews of a Star Trek space battle.
