The GameVideos crew took the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled for a spin through the wayback machine to see how it compared to it's arcade original. The video shows the games running side by side with each other, which gives you an idea just how far this game has come.
One thing I noticed is the newer version seems to lack some of the "pop" in color the original had. What differences do you notice?
There is a theorem that states “an infinite number of monkeys hitting keys at random on an infinite number of typewriters for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type the complete works of William Shakespeare.” The theorem is intended to demonstrate the perils of trying to define infinity by using a finite, though vast, number. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 takes this theorem to heart and seems to depend upon the fact that if you do the same actions over and over and over again, you may eventually find a rewarding experience lurking somewhere in the depths. Unfortunately, Gundam 2 is not Hamlet and the play experience is more akin to using Yahoo’s babelfish to translate a book written in English to another language, to another, and yet another before finally translating it back.

Whee!
In the spirit of the 4th of July, we've found some awesome explosion action to tide you over until the real fireworks begin! That is to say, 'Splosion Man has finally shown us its Co-op colors! 'Splosion Man is sure to fulfill all your mad scientist, platforming needs. Various neon colors represent the 2-4 co-op "test subject" 'Splosion Men in their molten explosive forms.

Grandmaster Flash is one of the most influential and well known DJs ever. Today, Activision has announced that the GMF himself is lending his voice and likeness to DJ Hero. Many consider Flash as the father of modern DJing.
Grandmaster Flash will walk players through the game's tutorial, as well as contribute two of his tracks "Boom" and "Tap" to the game. The DJ has also created two exclusive remixes for the game, Grandmaster Flash’s Herbie Hancock "Rockit" vs. N.E.R.D. "Lapdance" and Grandmaster Flash "Here Comes My DJ" vs. Gary Numan "Cars" mixes.
You and your co-op partner are going to have to fight over who gets to be Mr. Flash when the game releases this fall.

Codemasters has just released a fresh bullet filled batch of screenshots for Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising. The four player co-op title is set to be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this fall.
Players are dropped into a warzone in a huge expansive enviornment with over 70 weapons and 50 vehicles at thier disposal. Teamwork is key in this tactical game, and from the screens it looks as beautiful as it is realistic.

While we've seen some pretty amazing custom levels on PlayStation 3's Little Big Planet, Microsoft's answer to a user generated content game is a bit different. The toolkit is called Kodu, and it's designed from the ground up to be a visual programming experience.
While there's no way to create the game in a cooperative mode, you can create cooperative experiences and then share them with your friends. It's incredibly easy to add more players to the mix with the easy to use script language and before you know it you can have a playground for your friends.

"Cover me!" "That phrase, I don't think it means what you think it means."
2 guys walk into a bar, and talk football. Sounds pretty standard, right? Well, Destructoid.com's Samit Sarkar spoke with Madden 10 Lead Designer Ian Cummings to get the low-down on what to expect! NFL fans will be excited to learn that Madden 10 has an "NFL Franchise" system, where 32 people join up for some online rumble time according to real NFL schedules. Though this isn't exactly co-op, new innovative ways to bring players together is fine by us!
Co-op is brought up as a way to bring new gamers into the mix, and to be honest, this gamer is much more interested in a sports game that can be played Co-op with a buddy! Co-op was the corner stone of this installment of Madden, and we're excited to see this implemented (finally). They mention starting with 2 players to work full team co-op into the game sometime in the future, 11 player co-op would make for one amazing Co-op night! Updated graphics and animations as well as new gameplay engines, including a new blocking system have been included to make Madden 10 the definitive football game of this gaming generation.

Steampunk and Western seem like a genre that would meld nicely together. One could say they would even cooperate. But if Wild Wild West taught us anything, it's not to judge a book by its cover. We climb the ledge and jump face first into Damnation in our co-op review.

Hold still...there's a fly on you.
It's already known that Dead Space Extraction for the Wii will contain a two player cooperative mode. But what isn't known is the fact that the original Deadspace had a cooperative mode as well, at least, until it was cut like the limbs of the infected.
Glen Schofield, the General Manager for Visceral Games (which was EA Redwood Shores), stated the following on EA Podcast Episode 2:
“We actually had co-op for about three/four months in Dead Space. In the original one, we had it running and we’re playing it and we had a little team developing it and it was actually pretty cool.”

The news of a high def remake of Serious Sam, to be released on PC and Xbox Live Arcade, had me giddy as a headless, shirtless, bomb wielding dude who could somehow still scream. Unfortunately, PS3 users are left out of all the fun. Or are they?
Croteam CEO Roman Ribaric said financing was unavailable for a PSN version of Serious Sam HD to begin, but it's too early to say never just yet. If there is enough demand, your PS3 may be spouting one liners and cannonballs after all. Why not email Croteam and tell them you want to buy Serious Sam HD for the PSN?
