The obvious recommendations below are Gears of War and the Halo games. Because, duh, right? Charlie Murder is also worth a look, especially at that steep of a discount. Inspired by River City Ransom and bearing some resemblance to a grunge version of Scott Pilgrim, Charlie Murder is a brawler that revolves around the metal band trying to put a stop to evil activities carried out by rival band Gore Quaffer. Hard to say no, right?

Awesomenauts Patch 2.3 Introduces New Playable CharacterChristopher Metz

Voiced by Youtube personality, Dodger, Penny Fox is a nimble, but deadly warrior with a unique ability to charge up her moves and stats by attacking enemies. She's mainly a melee fighter, using her two moves, one being a Froggy G.-like "Splash Dash" move, and the other being a hadoken-ish wave that increases damage dealt to affected targets, to quickly dispatch enemies in a moment's notice. Any fan of "Assassin" type characters in MOBA's will thoroughly enjoy Penny's contribution to the roster. Just remember that she is only available to those who've purchased early access to the Awesomenauts: Starstorm expansion (currently $9).

Let's crunch some numbers here. That's 12 million units at $19.99 a pop. That's a whopping $239,880,000. Now I ain't a fancy-pants banker or nothin', but that's some "throw your weight around" kind of money right there. For comparison, the commercially successful Castle Crashers, a 4 player co-op game also released on 360, sold over 2.6 million copies. Chump change.

For those of you unaware of the series, Scourge: Outbreak is an immensely improved remake of "The Scourge Project: Episodes 1 & 2", which were released on Steam 4 years ago this month. Paying attention to all the community feedback the original was given, a whole bunch of features and enhancements to the game were made, including a stronger narrative, improved AI, new XP Perks, and many others. Since the differences between these versions is so vast, it should make playing or replaying the game all the more worthwhile. As a "Thank you!" from Tragnarion Studios, now you can experience both the old and new if you purchased the original games.

Title Update 14 has finally allowed players on console to trade with villagers. These hideously beaked peasants are wanting items from all over the cosmos, no matter how rare, mundane, or disgusting. This guy might want a few slabs of raw beef (which you had sitting in an unconditioned chest for MONTHS, no doubt), while his buddy may wish for a block of solid diamond. There's really no telling with these folks. However, every villager would be happy to trade a rare emerald for whatever they seek; even if it's kind of gross.

As a game that was gorgeous to begin with, we can't wait to see what it will look like on the more powerful consoles. Details on the new content have not yet been announced, but we can expect to see more content than what was in the game at it's 2013 release.

The City Texture Pack is out now on 360 and will set you back a whopping $1/€0.95/£0.65, depending on your location.  Essentially, this pack gives you all the greys and silvers you could every possibly need to create a world that looks like our own.  Some would say that SimCity already does this, but imagine the characters from Minecraft rocking up to your office!

Since all their updates for the Xbox LIVE Arcade version are now complete, with the release of the Final Unicorn Prisoner (sorry, there's no 6th Prisoner), they've revealed their next plans for BattleBlock Theater. Over the past few months Games with Gold has provided some older games, but some goodies, for free.  This is certainly the case again with Dungeon Defenders; at 5 out of 5 on the Co-Optimus review scale, this is one game you will want to check out.  Defenders is a 4 players co-op game that can be played at home, online, or a combination of both.  The RPG/Tower Defense hybrid is a little slow to start with, but once you have upgraded your character a few times, it soon becomes addictive.

Xbox 360 gamers' patience likely has paid off, as the patches, fixes, and updates that have been released for the PC version are also in the 360 build. This includes maps such as The Hold and Radar Storm, and weapons like the AG-A3 bullpup design.

For those of you who know my gaming habits, I tend to gravitate to the style of retro games and will frequently look to replay oldies I've experienced when I was younger. Richie, for the most part, tends to keep his choices more modern and filled with lots of unique game mechanics. Perfect Dark HD seemed to fit the bill for both of us, mainly because it combines many of these two aspects within it; I got my nostalgia and he got his stealth mechanics. While Perfect Dark is a relatively old game, the XBLA version contained an online, 2-player co-op mode that could easily be set up via Xbox LIVE. Most importantly, however, this game provided a unique experience where we both got something out of playing it together. Instead of just playing a co-op game where either of us simply needed a body to play as the co-op partner, we genuinely enjoyed it because it granted us our own gaming fixes equally.
