Details are sparse and not forthcoming with regards to that co-op mode. Apparently, all we get for now is the gruesome teaser image below. While the "Zombies" mode in the modern Call of Duty titles has usually been pretty solid from a co-op perspective, I was really hoping that Sledgehammer would maybe try something new. Like, I dunno, a full co-op campaign that's not a separate thing?

Deathstorm Part 2 DLC Now Available for Sniper Elite 4Jason Love

After recovering the "Deathstorm" package, Karl now travels to the town of Niroli to uncover what, exactly, the Nazis had planned for the weapon. To do this, he'll have to sneak into the medieval town and rescue an important Italian scientist and his wife. Just as with part one, this new story mission can be played cooperatively online with a friend.

Osiris is the Xbox One sequel to the fantastic Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and whilst it may not quite live up to the first game, the sequel offers more in the form of 4 player online/offline co-op.  There are issues with connecting to a online game if someone drops in or out as the game needs to redesign the stages, but grab a few reliable pals and you have a fun action platformer that has puzzles that may lead to arguments - the best type of co-op.

"Stromdorf" will include two new story maps and one new weapon (the Executioner's Sword for Markus), which is one less of each than "Karak Azgaraz" had, for those keeping track at home. That's completely fine if the price is also less than past DLC, but no word just yet on what it will be. Here's what awaits you and your fellow misfits in this new adventure:

The sequel to the hit prison life/escape simulator, The Escapists 2, is still tunneling its way to sweet freedom/release this year. In the latest trailer, publisher Team17 is showing off a new prison from which you and your friends can attempt to bust out. As if the name alone (Rattlesnake Springs) didn't tip you off, this new "big ho...

Troll and I is a platforming and puzzle solving game for up to two players, but at times, leaves one player to do nothing but wait for the other to progress. As the game carries on, elements from other more popular games can be seen, leaving Troll and I feeling like a soulless chore....

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the 2009 RTS title, was initially put out there as an "Early Access" exclusive for anyone who also bought the recent sequel. The implication there was that it eventually would be available to buy on its own, and that day has finally arrived. Along with the updated graphics,&nbs...

The DLC, titled "Narco Road," weirdly doesn't continue with your character's progress from the main game. Instead, you're given a new character that's set to level 20 and set loose to tackle the 15 new missions. The reason for this kind of reset appears due to the shift in your employer. Rather than being part of an elite military strike team, you're now a mercenary working for the Santa Blanca cartel. You'll have to impress some smuggling gangs to get them on your side (apparently by doing sick stunts in cars/bikes/planes), while also battling a rival cartel.

Contra is a classic title, but harks back to the vintage days when you could only afford one game every few months, so make what you have hard and timeconsuming.  The two player couch and online co-op title still holds up well today, but is perhaps not as strong as its Super Nintendo sequel Super Contra.

You can watch our run through the mode below, which takes around 15 minutes to complete each time. The default difficulty is fairly easy and the hard difficulty in the all heroes mode, becomes frustrating quite quickly.

Ok, so joking aside, this is some pretty creative design. The latest frame to join the space ninja ranks lets you create your own music that then gets played in-game when you use Octavia's abilities. The "Mandachord" allows you to build a song using percussion, bass, and melody tracks. Those tracks then provide the beats to Octavia's abilities, Mallet, Resonator, and Metronome. I can't speak to how well all that works out in the game itself, but the idea of it is really cool.

Starting earlier this April and ending on May 2nd, Uprising centers around an Overwatch (the organization) mission that took place in the King's Row region.  Mirroring the mission itself, the event's co-op brawl is a wave-based mode in which four players are tasked with defeating the nefarious Null Sector.  Check out the trailer below:

If you're familiar with some of Grasshopper's (and Suda 51's) past games, then you know they have some interesting takes on familiar video game formulas while also weaving a different kind of story. Sine Mora is no exception to that as the main narrative revolves around two different tales occurring at two different points in time, but they're linked in a rather interesting way. From a gameplay perspective, rather than the player's ship having a health bar or dying in one hit, each time you take fire from an enemy, you lose time. Like I said, there's a lot of interesting stuff going on here. The good news is that you can team up with a buddy locally to play through the entire story.
