Burnout Paradise PC Release Date, Updates, and Console Price Drop

Big news for Burnout Paradise fans and wannabe fans alike today: Criterion Games has posted the PC version release date on their official blog, as well as dates for the next free update and downloadable content!

On February 5th, current Burnout Paradise owners will receive a free update that fixes some bugs and issues, adds an in-game website, store, and upgrades the game's visuals, modes, vehicle dynamics, and even adds the much-needed "Restart" option in the pause menu.

Also on February 5th, the Party Pack will be available for purchase via Live, PSN, or the in-game store. Still no price point yet on this...unnecessary...mode.

The following day -- February 6th -- the Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box will be released for those of you that haven't ponied up yet. This packaged deal will include the hit 8-player co-op racer, plus every bonus pack released so far, including the Party Pack. Our own Mike Katsufrakis will be pleased to know that the PC version will be included in this release.
Once again, no price has been released yet.

And finally: for the cheapskate that has no intention of paying for pass-and-play premium content, Colony of Gamers reports that as of right now, Burnout Paradise is selling for $20 brand-new!
