LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Coming This Fall

"Space... the final frontier..."

Warner Brothers recently announced that their latest LEGO game will be coming out this Autumn. We are happy to hear that LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will also take a slightly different approach in its environments rather than a standard cityscape.

In this sequel, Batman and tons of other DC characters will return to the same crazy LEGO antics as before, but with a small changes in scenery. In this game, outer space will be featured as a new environment to explore, with various locations such as The Hall of Justice, the Batcave, and the Justice League Watchtower.

Players can look forward to an enormous list of playable characters (over 150), new character costumes (the Suit Signal mechanic has been removed for easy wardrobe switches), unique gadgetry, and action packed challenges. The story will involve members from both the Justice League and the Legion of Doom putting aside their differences to stop Braniac from using the Lantern Rings to shrink planets. We don't know anything new regarding the co-op portion of LEGO Batman 3, but we have a hunch that it will mirror the majority of other LEGO games available; 2-player local, splitscreen co-op. Again, the game is set for a fall release and will be coming out for practically every platform too: Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.
