Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion out June 3rd

New maps. New co-op. Same fun.

Get ready for the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts! Invasion, launching first on Xbox consoles, includes new maps and a new episode for Extinction, the co-op mode included in previous packs.

Extinction Episode 3: Awakening has the team venturing into the alien underworld to attack the Ancestors' subterranean fortress. Players are armed with new weapons and must fight their way through a series of defensive barriers to reach the Ark and discover its secrets.

Four small and medium multiplayer maps are included in Invasion, each with their own unique killstreak.

Departed is set in Mexico during the Day of the Dead celebration. The town boasts colorful decorations and vendor carts that double as cover in a firefight. The Death Mariachi killstreak summons a band member armed with dual pistols, each kill granting an additional squadmate/band member. Pharaoh takes place in an Egyptian palace turned archaeological excavation site. Monuments can topple, and knocked over urns full of human-eating scarabs are a thing to fear.   Mutiny takes the fight to an island in the Caribbean that just so happens to double as a pirate hideout. Completing the map's Field Order grants access to a pair of ghost pirates who will fight at your side. Favela is a newer version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's map of the same name. Instead of just a touch up, it's more of a progression. Buildings previously under construction are now complete, while others have broken down and crumbled. The map's killstreak is a Y-8 Gunship equipped with a 105mm cannon, 40mm auto-cannon, and a 25mm cannon.

Invasion will launch June 3 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and will be available sometime later for other platforms. The DLC is available for $14.99, or comes included in the game's Season Pass.
