Rogue Stormers Delayed Until April

Additional game balancing needed

Black Forest Games announced today that Rogue Stormers, its rogue-like action platformer title, will now be released on April 21 instead of the original date of March 24. If you own the game on Steam already via Early Access, you'll have a chance to check out an "almost-final" build of the game for a few days next weekend.

It's not entirely clear from the message why the dev team decided to push it back a month. There's mention of "using the extra time to make sure Rogue Stormers launches with maximum polish," but one wonders what cropped up this past week within the game that lead them to making this decision. Especially when they went ahead and put out a video just last week touting the game's March 24 release date.

As previously mentioned, if you already own the game via Early Access, you can play a version of the game that will be close to the final product. Here's the info Black Forest Games provided to us:

From Good Friday to Easter Monday (03/24 – 03/28), owners of Rogue Stormers on Steam will be able to access the exclusive preview. Players will need to activate it in the game's properties in the Steam library (select "Preview - Easter Preview Event").
