Grim Dawn Gets Big Performance Boost on Xbox

More graphics options added to improve the co-op loot-hunting experience.

Crate Entertainment released Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition, a collection of the co-op Diablo-style action RPG and its expansions, on Xbox earlier this month. That's a whole lot of loot-hunting goodness, but things get better from there. A new update adds a variety of graphics options and enhancements that will make the game look and run even better on Xbox Series S and X.

What's in the update? We're glad you asked.

UI Scaling - Are the textboxes too small for your display? UI scaling can now be adjusted to suit anyone's video set up on a TV or monitor

Additional Framerate Options - Adventurers can now unlock the framerate via the options menu, allowing for a smoother gameplay experience on newer hardware

New Graphical Options - Check the options menu for new graphical settings such as Antialiasing, Depth of Field, and Ambient Occlusion that can be enabled or disabled anytime

Korean, Polish, and Czech Language Support Added - Support for three new languages has been added to the game, allowing for more adventurers to explore the world of Grim Dawn

Additional Bugs Squashed - Enchanted bug repellent has been used to squash and grossly dismember multiple bugs. See full patch notes below for the details

Grim Dawn is a Diablo-style action RPG that supports 4-player online co-op. The game features six playable classes plus the ability to select dual classes. Other key features include player choices that affect the game world, factions that remember player actions, dynamic weather, and more.

The Xbox version of Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition costs $54.99. The game is also available by itself on Steam for $24.99 or in the "Definitive Edition" for $64.99. We hope to check out the Xbox version soon!
