LOTR: War in the North Will Feature Co-op Your Way

We've just gotten word that Snowblind Studios' upcoming 3-player RPG, LOTR: War in the North, will feature all sorts of co-op configurations, much to our great delight. We'd previously told you guys that the game would feature online co-op, but now it's also been verified that split-screen couch co-op will be supported as well! Even better, two players from the same console will be able to connect with a third player online, something I'm extremely excited about. Three networked consoles will be supported as well, if that tickles your fancy. Also, Snowblind announced that if your fellow co-op companions aren't available, the game will include a single-player campaign.

LOTR: War in the North is set to release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in 2011, which seems painfully far. Thanks for the tip on this, Robert!
