Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light's First DLC Pack Free for First 30 Days (XBLA Exclusive)

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, as many of you know, releases today on Xbox Live Arcade, along with some good news from Publisher Square-Enix. Many of us were disappointed to find out that the XBLA version would not be launching with online co-op, being instead added in as a free update on September 28th (the same day the game launches for PC and PSN). As part of a way to make up for this disappointment, xbox 360 owners of the game will have access to the game's first DLC pack FREE for 30 days!

The DLC won't stop here, either. A goodly amount of DLC does, in fact, appear to be forth-coming for the game:

There is also a full slate of DLC coming throughout the rest of the year; which includes three gameplay packs focusing on combat, exploration and puzzles and two character packs which allow the player a chance to experience the adventure with other well-known videogame characters. A free update will come soon after launch on Xbox 360 offering online cooperative play (offline cooperative play will be available on August 18) and full leaderboards.

Well, free DLC may not entirely soothe an online co-op enthusiast whose wrath hath been awoken, but it can't hurt!
