Portal 2's Triumphant Release Date

Don't fancy yours much

Spring 2011 is increasingly looking like a wonderful world of co-op gaming.  Alongside the co-op treats of Gears of War 3 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier you can now officially add Portal 2Valve have revealed a release date for the game of February 9th 2011, which is a triumph.  The game will have a full single player campaign, but also have an additional co-op campaign starring the above two robots.

In the solo experience, GLaDOS is set to return with the addition of a British robot called Wheatley who is voiced by comedian Stephen Merchant of UK version of The Office fame (or alternatively The Rock vehicle The Tooth Fairy fame).  Wheatley is a kindly robot pal, but knowing the role that most British people play in US films and games, he will probably turn out to be an enemy!  With a full single player and co-op campaign Co-Optimus is confident Valve will justify the move from downloadable content to full retail price and that the game will be a huge success.
