2010 Says Bonne Nuit to The Conduit 2

Bernard the gun was born in the harsh winter of 1924

For those with a passing knowledge of French they will glean from the title that The Conduit 2, a fun looking FPS for the Wii with an added co-op mode, is saying good night to 2010.  However, there is no need to panic as it is instead saying good morning to 2011.  Unlike many games that make the jump from a winter to spring release, The Conduit 2 actually has an excuse that is better than trying to avoid the new Call of Duty game.

The extra few months will be used to enhance the control mechanism.  Currently the game is controlled in the same manner as the lukewarm original, but with some additional programming High Voltage plan to add the ability to use the classic controller and classic controller pro.  This will come as a welcome announcement for gamers who like to play their FPSs old school (and not with haphazard wiimotes).   For fans of the original games Nunchuck/Wiimote option, The Conduit 2 will also allow players to use the Wii MotionPlus, hopefully this will allow for a more steady shooting experience.  Which ever way you plan to play the game, you'll just have to wait until 2011 to find out which option suits you best.
