Retrieve the Second Spartan Ops Episode Early Next Week

Now, who said Mondays were totally worthless?

Early next week, hungry Halo 4 fans will be given a second helping of Spartan Ops missions to download and play. Are you ready for more?

As we have mentioned in our latest “Our Weekend in Gaming”, we love Halo 4 and, especially, Spartan Ops gameplay. Luckily for all of us, a brand new batch of these co-op missions are already lined up to be played come next week. Launching on Monday, November 12th, five brand new Spartan Ops missions and a good portion of a side-story, will be made available by Microsoft. Here’s the small description of the upcoming Episode:

The episode sees a mysterious artifact (recovered from Requiem) take control of vital systems on board the UNSC Infinity, forcing the Spartans of Crimson and Majestic back down to the planet to look for a way to free the ship.

This might be the second Spartan Ops mission download so far, but there will be much more to come by over the next few months. Gamers can expect a new Episode with new missions every week for 10 weeks, and they are absolutely free (though you must grab them while you can, or you’ll have to wait a while).

If you haven’t purchased your copy of Halo 4 yet, we kindly ask you this: what the hell are you waiting for? Read our full co-op review if you need another reason to kick yourself to go and buy the game now.
