This is exactly what the team at Epic are offering owners of Gears of War 3 with the '12 Days of Gearmas' - a dozen special events.
Epic have only teased the events so far, but they start today at 5pm EST. There are 12 horde/beast special modes and also 12 modes for the multiplayer game. There will also be a chance to grab 3 rare ribbons leading up to the 25th.
Gears of War 3 remains one of the highlights of co-op gaming this generation with 4 player co-op throughout the campaign and arcade modes, with Beast and Horde modes going up to 5 players. If you have not tried the game for a while raise a glass of Eggnog (whatever that stuff is) and have a go over the next few days:
