Latest Ghost Recon Wildlands Update Includes Co-Op Fixes

Season 1 Challenges coming to an end this week, too

The latest title update for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands addresses some user interface issues for all platforms, but more importantly, fixes a couple of co-op issues. The key one being players spawning in random world locations during a mission. That one definitely annoyed me.

The full patch notes can be found over at the Ghost Recon Wildlands website, but here are the key co-op takeaways:

  • Fixed a bug where players couldn't finish the final mission if hot-joining after the first mission steps have been completed by another player
  • Fixed a bug where only the host would have a GPS trail in the first mission
  • Added the possibility for players to warn their teammates that they’re down
  • Players will now redeploy at the mission starting point when dying instead of respawning randomly in the world

The respawn issue and allowing players to notify others that they need a revive are some key fixes to make the co-op even better.

In addition to the update, the first season of the "Live Season Challenges" is drawing to an end later this week. These challenges kicked off last month and have provided players with some unique activities in the world with some unique rewards as well. No word yet on when Season 2 will get underway, but hopefully we won't have to wait too long.
