At last, an iiRcade cabinet with a sexy shape and shiny light-up marquee!

iiRcade Announces Premium Arcade Console with New Form Factor and Features

iiRcade recently implemented huge end-of-year discounts on its entire line of home arcade cabinets. Savvy observers guessed that the manufacturer might be clearing out stock before announcing new hardware, and that brings us to today. At CES 2022, iiRcade announced its new Premium Arcade Console line. The new first premium machine will feature Dead Cells artwork and several enhancements over previous models.

Happy New Year!

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for December 2021

...and that's a wrap on 2021. It was a bit rough around the edges but I'm sure we'll be able to fix that in post-production. So thanks everyone for the good work and we see you in 2022! Sorry? We've missed something? Surely you must be mistaken, Sir! The Monthly Round-Up for December? Mmmh... didn't we do that one back in January? No? Damn. Well, I guess we celebrated prematurely and need to put in some overtime. Unpack everything and back on position. Ready? Lights! Camera! Action!

Time to smell all those hot new co-op titles.

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for November 2021

December is upon is. Another holiday season right around the corner. A time of reflection, tranquillity and friendly gatherings allowing you to finally get out that awesome local co-op game you've been sitting on all year and play through it with your family and/or friends - or just dance your heart out with this years installment of the ever popular Just Dance-series. But while we do appreciate the fun in helplessly flayling around - we personally prefer to do it on our own and behind closed doors with multiple locks.

And a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our participants and donors!

Donate to Extra Life on Giving Tuesday

As I'm sure your inboxes have informed you, today is Giving Tuesday, an unofficial holiday for non-profit organizations to ask for the pocket change you didn't spend during Black Friday month and Cyber Monday week. I kid, but I've honestly given up on trying to keep track of sales. It's gotten a little crazy. So instead of spending your hard earned cash on stuff you don't need, why not donate it to a charity?

It's THAT time of the year again...

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for October, 2021

Yeah... so October lived up to it's reputation, didn't it? We counted a total of 78 releases across all platforms in our release calender. Enough for everyone to get their fix. How about a bit of real-time strategy? Age of Empires IV finally saw the light of day after 16 years of waiting and is ready for some good old comp-stomp action. Don't own a PC? Take a look at Iron Harvest then, which hit consoles this month and even offers a full-on co-op campaign. More of a shooty kind of person? Then you may be interested to hear that Quake got ready for next-gen consoles, Back 4 Blood and Far Cry 6 hit the market and even a new DOOM total conversion, REKKR: Sunken Land, stands ready to fulfill that old-school shooter need. All in all good times to be a co-op gamer as well as a co-op database as it saw another 120 entries added to it this month.

We can't deal with so many games!

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for September, 2021

It's a good time to be a co-op gamer, don't you think? What? You don't? Well our release calender showed 69 (nice!) releases for September across all platforms. Is that not enough to convice you? Yes, not all of them offer the classic couch gaming experience many so heartly desire. We know. But at the same time not everyone has the luxury of readily available friends in close proximity. As such having the option to go online is something we appreciate, too.

Set sail for Co-optember!

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for August, 2021

While gamescom 2021 didn't see nearly as many new co-op game announcements as E3 2021, we still had a good time watching the event unfold - and not just because we are of course eagerly gobbling up every bit of Elden Ring news. August did also hold a very delightful surprise for all of us 30plus old PC Gamers: A remaster of Quake not just with all existing expansions but a new episode from MachineGames on top. Oh and it's available for consoles as well with full 4-player split-screen support and online multiplayer cross-play on all systems! More than enough reasons for you and your friend to go and kick some furry Shambler butt...If nostalgia is not your cup of tea however, the releases of August once again offer a co-op opportunity for almost everyone. From colorful kids games like PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls to killing hundreds of Xenomorphs in dark environments in Aliens: Fireteam Elite - there's enough variety to choose from. Meanwhile our database master, down in the dark (he likes to keep the light out) data entry mines added another 160 entries. So, take a look below at what you may have missed.
