Dungeon Defenders Community Releases an Update Patch

The action RPG meets tower defense game Dungeon Defenders was released in 2011 and picked up a decent sized audience almost immediately. The game combines all the loot-grabbing fun of Torchlight with features from popular MOBA games to create the kind of experience you just don't want to stop playing.

Over the past few months Games with Gold has provided some older games, but some goodies, for free. This is certainly the case again with Dungeon Defenders; at 5 out of 5 on the Co-Optimus review scale, this is one game you will want to check out. Defenders is a 4 players co-op game that can be played at home, online, or a combination of both. The RPG/Tower Defense hybrid is a little slow to start with, but once you have upgraded your character a few times, it soon becomes addictive.

Dungeon Defenders Celebrates Its First Anniversary with New DLC and Sales

It’s somebody’s birthday! No, not just anyone’s, but a great co-op title we’ve come to love over this past year: Dungeon Defenders! Celebrating its franchise’s first year as a game, Trendy Entertainment and Reverb Publishing have released a new DLC for gamers to enjoy in the festivities. Over the next couple of weeks, gamers can purchase the “Dungeon Defenders Anniversary Pack” DLC for free online.

Dungeon Defenders Now Available On Mac

Dungeon Defenders is now available for Mac users. The tower defense/action RPG title can be purchased at the Mac store for $14.99. You'll be able to choose between different character classes, build up defenses against relentless enemy assaults, and score epic loot. There are a host of other features which you can see here.

Get the Jester Class Free for Dungeon Defenders on PC

There's absolutely oodles of DLC for Tower Defense/RPG hybrid hit, Dungeon Defenders. Happily for us, the generous folks at Trendy Entertainment even make some of it available to us for free! For the next couple of weeks, the Jester Hero DLC will be available for absolutely free on Steam for PC players.This DLC comes complete with the Jester class, "the Fool" costume for the Jester, a GameLand campaign mission, and 4 new weapons.

Trendy Chooses New Development Over Dungeon Defenders Vita Release

Recently, Trendy Entertainment has announced its cancellation of Dungeon Defenders for the PlayStation Vita. While we are slightly disappointed by this, Trendy does have other plans already in the works that involve cross-platform gaming.

New Dungeon Defenders DLC Available on All Platforms, New Summoner Class Available on Steam

The third part in the Dungeon Defenders ongoing series, "The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards," is avaialble on Steam, XBLA, and PSN for $4 or 320 MSP. Much of the new content; accessories, costumes, and characters, is only available on the PC. However, the four part series, "The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards," is available on both PC and consoles.

Penny Arcade DLC Attacks Dungeon Defenders

PAX East is coming, 6-8th April in Boston to be exact. Whilst some of the Co-Optimus crew will be going this year and even showing off their game, others will be forced to endure the snow that has just arrived in Britain. As well as better weather, another perk that visitors to PAX East will get is some free Penny Arcade DLC for the Steam version of Dungeon Defenders, the rest of us will have to pay $1.99 for the privilege.

Dungeon Defenders' next installment of DLC, entitled the Quest for the Lost Shards of Eternia Part II, has been in the works for a little while. While it was originally planned to come out on February for the PC, further testing and tweaking was required and thus bumped back the release slightly.

I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of Dungeon Defenders. Some nights I play a little on PC, then I switch over to my Xbox and play a little more. Then a little turns to a lot, and I end up playing till the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes I black out and wake up several days later wearing nothing but my favorite boxers (the white ones with red hearts). Perhaps I have a problem. Some say the best way to get through an addiction is to just let it run it's course (at least that's what doc says when I've got a cold). That means more Dungeon Defenders! Of course addicts always need support from their peers, so you're invited!
