The Anniversary Editions don't appear to come with any swag like some past editions did, but they do include the main Shredder's Revenge game (a $25 value) and the "Dimension Shellshock" DLC (an $8 value). For collectors who insist on physical editions, that should be enough to warrant a purchase.

In Dimension Shellshock's Survival Mode, players will travel between numerous dimensions, collecting crystals and selecting randomized power-ups each time they complete a scene. A couple of these dimensions include Edo (ancient Japan) and Mirage. The Mirage dimension features backgrounds made to look like faux comic panels, although the background artwork seems to be based on the 1987 TMNT cartoon rather than the actual Mirage comics.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is a spiritual successor to the classic TMNT arcade games. In this one, Shredder's minions have unleashed a plan to rebuild Krang's body while taking over the city of New York. Only the Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and their friends April O'Neil and Casey Jones can stop the Foot's dastardly plan! Stellar production values bring the adventure to life, including gorgeous pixel art and the original cartoon voices of the 1987 Turtles, Bebop, and Rocksteady. Now that's authentic!
