Cowabunga! TMNT: Splintered Fate Arrives on PlayStation

TMNT: Splintered Fate is an isometric roguelike in the style of Hades. Players select the Turtle of their choice (or Casey Jones via DLC) and head on a mission to the sewers and beyond in order to rescue Master Splinter from the Foot Clan. Whenever players clear rooms, they get to choose from a random array of upgrades and rewards before moving on. Challenging boss counters, an authentic and fully voiced story, and plenty of permanent upgrades to buy between runs will keep players coming back for more. 4-player local and online co-op with cross-play further enhance the experience.

In TMNT: Splintered Fate, the Turtles must travel through a series of portals as they fight to rescue their kidnapped master. Each Turtle has unique abilities, such as Donatello's useful perk that heals him a little at the start of each fight. The team must battle their way through a series of rooms in each area, with both a mini-boss and a big boss providing deadly threats. Players will collect various currencies during a run that can be spent on permanent upgrades back in the lair. It's a lot like Hades, but with the heroes in a half-shell.

Splintered Fate opens with a brief scene of the Turtles staring into a purple portal, but there's no actual introduction. From the title screen, players can select solo, local, or online play. Note that online play does not have matchmaking, so you'll need to know someone else with the game in order to play online.
