Zoo Tycoon Screenshots Might Have Some Giraffe Patterns in Them

Probably the biggest "reveal" in the images below is driving a cart over a ramp like some sort of crazed zookeeper from the wacky side of Detroit. This tells us two things: 1) Zoo Tycoon lets you cut loose from time to time, and 2) The ramp has a frickin' giraffe pattern on it. Let's hope we can customize every surface in the game to have that pattern.

List of Zoo Tycoon's 101 Animals Released

Can't think of 101 animals you'd like to put in a zoo? There aren't 101 unique species, as that might get a little... weird (hamsters in a zoo?). Instead, Zoo Tycoon incorporates sub-species into the mix, providing half a dozen different types of chimps, elephants and lions, and a whopping 13 varieties of bear. The full list below details everything, but like we said before, still no penguins.

These simulation style games can be incredibly addictive, players become sucked into the management of their park while wanting to “collect them all.” Zoo Tycoon continues this tradition with somewhere near 100 animals available at launch for the title. Sadly there are no penguins and the team isn't ready to discuss if DLC is even going to happen.
