Borderlands 2 Free for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

Christmas comes right on time in the form of awesome co-op fun on the PS3

Co-op fans who missed out on arguably one of the best co-op games of last generation will receive an awesome gift this year - assuming they are PlayStation Plus subscribers with a PS3. Borderlands 2 will be available for free this month via the PS Plus' Instant Game Collection in the PlayStation Store.

The title follows the path of the first Borderlands title which was also made available via the Instant Game Collection. Also added to the collection this month is GRID 2 and Dyad on PS3, while the Vita will welcome Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Urban Trial Freestyle to it's instant collection.

Borderlands 2 is a co-op fanatic's dream, featuring local two player co-op, online four player co-op, and combo four player co-op. The entire campaign (and game) was built for co-op, so there's not boring restrictions inhibiting your play. Still on the fence? Feel free to check out our full review and see if this game is worth your precious hard drive space (and time).
