Uncharted 2 Added To Playstation Now's Library

Oh, Nathan, you always know where to find us.

Ah, Nathan Drake.  Explorer.  Survivalist.  Purveyor of witty comebacks.  We thought that you were gone from our lives when we packed away our PS3s, or at least until Uncharted 4 comes out.  Like the Phoenix, though, you arise and return to our lives once more with the addition of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to Playstation Now's library!

A little extra latency is nothing more than a small obstacle now that we're able to stream pure, uncut Nathan Drake directly onto our PS4s and undiluted into our eyesockets.  With Uncharted 4 due out later this year, now is the perfect time to re-immerse ourselves in the tale of plucky adventurer with a heart of gold.  When we've had our fill of that, we can jump right into the 3 player online co-op and run some unique missions to squeeze every last drop of story possible out of the 2009 release.

For the uninitiated, Playstation Now is a subscription-based service that allows players to stream games directly onto their PS4s without requiring a full download.  It launched in the middle of last month with a little over 100 titles available, ranging from "everyday life in Tokyo" simulator, Earth Defense Force 2025, to the genital safety awareness program, Sniper Elite V2.  Due to the nature of the service, users have typically noticed slight input latency, so it may not be a worthwhile substitute for genres that require especially quick reflexes.

It currently contains two different subscription programs, with players able to choose between a monthly $19.99 or a 3 month fee of $44.99.  While Sony is currently attempting to build its current library of PS3 titles, PSX and PS2 titles will be forthcoming.  In the meantime, get out there and get some of the cliff-climbing goodness in your life.
