It's always interesting to try to sum up an entire year worth of gaming and see what stands out. This year I wouldn't say there was any clear "winner" or "trend" in co-op gaming. VR burst onto the scene and we're just scratching the surface there, but otherwise we had a solid mix of both AAA and Indie releases.

A solid game overall, but one we found a little rough for the co-op experience. Number two on the list is a controversial one, Gearbox's Battleborn which many folks were torn over. Looking down the list there's a solid mix again of AAA and Indie with standouts like Overcooked, Gears of War 4, and Dark Souls 3 making the list.
