Marvel Avengers launches September 4th, Co-Op Revealed

Latest video shows off co-op, frame rate

Marvel Avengers has been a mostly hidden title since it was announced at E3 just about a year ago. While the game has had tidbits of information and media released since then we haven't seen much in terms of core content, despite the delay from earlier this year. Now with a 90 minute live stream reveal, Square-Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics have showed off a good chunk of what the game has to offer.

Unveiled via the stream are  some of Thor's gameplay, more story details, co-op footage, and main villains AIM and M.O.D.O.K. The crux of the story is surrounding a super fan who believe the Avengers were set up and is out to prove the world wrong.

If you are looking for the co-op specific content, jump to 47 minutes in the above video. Shown off are the co-op specific missions called Warzones where you players can jump in online with up to three additional friends and take on M.O.D.O.K. The footage definitely has a beat em' up style feel to it, but the streaming content and frame rate really doesn't seem to do it justice. Hopefully the full release will perform and look better.

Marvel's Avengers releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on September 4th.
