Call of Duty: World at War Co-Op Achievements
Just because my gamerscore is over 55 thousand, that doesn't mean I'm an achievement whore. That also doesn't mean I don't love hearing about a game's upcoming achievements. And it especially doesn't mean I don't like to hear when there are co-op specific achievements. Got that? I'll try again. I like achievements, especially when they are co-op. Damn, that was much easier.
There's good news on the Call of Duty front as the latest game will feature 14 specific achievements for the game's 4 player co-op mode. While most of them are unlockable in single player, there are 3 or 4 that will require you to play the game's cooperative mode. These include both trying the game's competitive co-op and normal co-op modes.
The rest of the achivements seem to be tied to bonus objectives in the game like killing a certain amount of enemies or using only a specific weapon. The full list of achievements are posted after the Read More link.

Carlson’s Raiders
Complete ‘Semper Fi’ on any difficulty. (Solo only)
10
Stormed Peleliu
Establish a beachhead on the island of Peleliu on any difficulty. (Solo only)
15
The Last Stand
Survive the land and air conflict surrounding Okinawa on any difficulty. (Solo only)
20
Stabbed in the Heart
Complete all missions on the Eastern Front on any difficulty setting. (Solo only)
20
Get Your Hands Dirty
Complete ‘Semper Fi’ on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)
30
Saved Private Ryan
Save the soldier before he burns to death. (Solo or co-op)
10
Bloody Peleliu
Complete ‘Little Resistance’ on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)
30
Weapon of Mass Destruction
Radio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers. (Solo or co-op)
15
The Sword Is Broken
Complete ‘Hard Landing’ on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)
30
No Safe Place
Burn an enemy out of a tree with the flamethrower in ‘Hard Landing’ (Solo or co-op)

Architect
Complete ‘Vendetta’ on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

The Professional
Shoot all of Amsel’s henchmen, including their attack dog, without reloading. (Solo only)

Assassinate General Amsel with a pistol shot. (Solo only)

The Hammer Strikes
Complete ‘Their Land, Their Blood’ on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

Firestarter

Complete ‘Blood and Iron’ on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

Iron Fist
