Magicka: The Stars Are Left DLC Announced

Paradox have announced a new piece of downloadable content for the four player co-op PC game, Magicka.  Titled "The Stars are Left," this new DLC is inspired by many Lovecraft-ian mythos including Cthulhu.  They also promise to make fun of other crafts and I'm not talking about basket weaving.  The main feature of this DLC is a brand new adventure campaign.

The best part about the premium content for co-op players is - only the host player needs to own it for the other three wizards to enjoy it.  That's right, buy it once, and everyone gets to enjoy it.

The Stars are Left includes:

• An all-new adventure, several levels long, allowing players to get lost in space and time
• 2 new challenge maps
• 2 new robes
• 2 new bosses
• 5 new achievements
• 7 new enemies
• Considerably more than 2 new items and Magicks
• Also, we make fun of Minecraft this time

There's no specific date (just Winter) or price on the content.  For now, enjoy a teaser trailer and some screenshots.

Magicka was released on Steam earlier this year and feature cooperative spell casting using basic elements.  We really enjoyed the game and its expansions to date - so we're glad to see more content coming.
