A new prototype title has been announced, and it could be a very exciting concept for the entertainment sector. Kelonia Games, who are a team of independent artists, have brought a lot of fresh air to the gaming world, with their new prototype really causing ripples in the market. The idea is very unique, and according to the newest clip, it allows the player to take control of an Egyptian hieroglyphic.

About the Concept of the New Title

When you watch the released clip, the camera zooms in on a 3D scene, showing an Ancient Egyptian temple. The temple is decorated with trees, torches, and carved hieroglyphics. In the background, you will also see numerous nods to Ancient Egypt, including a pyramid. The camera zooms in once again, showing a figure on the temple walls. This figure is controlled by the player, who can run alongside the wall.

Although there isn’t a title for the project yet, and we don’t even know what the storyline is or if the game is going to consist of multiple levels, the mechanics are very interesting. As the character cannot leave the confines of the wall, it may be that this ends up being a puzzle game. It may be that the character can traverse through the cracks in the wall and into the temple itself. 

It may be that the game ends up being more of a platformer game, which would again involve some very interesting concepts, if the initial trailer is anything to go by.  The prototype for the game has gained a lot of attention so far, particularly on platforms like X, so it’s going to be interesting to see if the developers have any intention of taking this concept and transforming it into a fully-fledged game.

Why the Concept Works

The main reason why this game is blowing up so much on X and other platforms is that Egypt is a hot topic in the media right now. As time goes on, we are seeing even more Egyptian titles surface. In the movie world, you have Fountain of Youth, which was filmed in Egypt, and there have also been a lot of books released. One of note would be Cleopatra: Histories, Dreams and Distortions. This takes a look at Cleopatra and is due for release in February 2026.

Interestingly, within the gaming sector, Egypt is also a big theme. Many slots online UK websites have themed games based on the era, including Eye of Horus Megaways and Eye of Horus, the Golden Tablet. Titles like this not only showcase the wonders of Egypt, but also the gods that the people worshipped at the time. The fact that this new platform-puzzle game takes that same theme and turns it into something completely new is a great step forward for the gaming market, and it also helps to show how versatile the theme can be.

The developing company does have other titles available on Steam, but there is no word as to when this game is going to come out, as of yet.
