The Co-Op Experience

Players can join public lobbies or create private lobbies. Up to 3 players can fight through zombie-filled levels together. Friendly fire cannot be disabled at present. The game supports typing and also provides a chat wheel for controller users. Players can revive each other, though revived players will be injured until reaching a safe room. Currency pick-ups and certain items are shared between the team, but most items can only be collected by one person.

While Blackout Protocol is intended to be cooperative and the overall goal is still working with friends in a story based atmosphere - there are players that may want to ruin that due to griefing. As of now, there is no way to disable distinct PvP content. ×

Description

Blackout Protocol is a co-op twin stick shooter with roguelite elements and a tense, spooky atmosphere.

As employees of S2P Corporation, your work seemed so noble: advancing humanity through cutting-edge research into paranatural entities. That is, until they had something to say about it.

Now an internal containment breach has knocked out the power at Section 13, an underground research base where S2P houses its most dangerous subjects. With the entire facility in the dark—literally—it's up to you and a squad of intrepid coworkers to arm yourselves, delve into the depths, and shed light on what lies within.
