Several months ago, we decided to have a playoff of sorts to determine which LEGO game was the greatest of them all. Readers waited with intense anticipation... which LEGO game would reign supreme?

Just over two weeks ago, we set out to determine the answer to this question with the help of you, our readers. A bracket with random pairings of all eight currently released LEGO games was set up, and now, after two rounds of votes, it's down to two.

Last week, we began the first round of our contest to decide the answer to an important question: which LEGO game is the greatest of them all? For the past week, we've tallied the votes, and now our first round winners have been calculated. Did your favorite make it through to Round 2?

What's this?  A new LEGO video game based on the Lord of the Rings series?  Unfortunately, no; at least, not to our knowledge, though it sounds like a good idea to us.  We here at Co-Optimus have long been fans of the LEGO series, which has included co-op from the very beginning.  From Star Wars to Harry Potter, and everywhere in between, the LEGO games have provided hours of fun for gamers of all ages through the years.
