Excellent news folks! We've gotten several tips from readers that Gamestop is calling folks that reserved LittleBigPlanet letting them know their copy should be available tomorrow, October 25th. This is a couple of days earlier than the delayed week of October 27th previously announced.

We are still going to have a bit of a celebration next week around Co-Optimus HQ, promoting the launch of Media Molecules 4 player cooperative title, but for now you can get a leg up on the "competition" by heading into Gamestop tomorrow.

Toys R Us still might have them on the shelves, they had them all day 21st and 22nd at the local ones here in Tx. Call your local TRU and see if you can get them there if you can't wait.

I got called from the EB I had it paid off at around 730 Friday evening and had it in my hot little hands by 830. Sank about 2-3 hours into it tonight... good stuff.

Of course, all of the online stuff is down right now and there's no sign of the page for getting my Kratos costume, but I can only hope that they're just going to patch the preorder exclusive stuff in for free for everyone to make up for the delay.

I was paranoid that they were going to ship it to stores and then try to enforce a street date of Oct. 27. Heads would roll if that had happened.

Anyone get the space sackboy costume yet, it's suppose to be available for the first week after launch only.

I called gamestop saturday and they were jerks to me. Didnt want to hear anything about how many of the gamestops were selling it. They told me they werent selling it until monday.

*sigh* I hate gamestop. I wouldnt buy it from them if I hadnt pre-ordered it from them...

Oh well I guess..

I picked mine up Saturday and played a few of the Garden levels. I'm hoping to have more time this evening and I look forward to the servers going online at which point the game will go from good to great (once d/l maps and online coop become available).

Get a refund and buy it from a normal retailer.

Hopefully that spack sackboy is still there come next week since the UK pre-orders from Play.com ship on the fifth or something like that (blast you Nariko costume... that's the only reason why we bothered!)

We haven't bought a game in ages, this is one of the first we've been excited about, so hopefully it lives up to everyone's rave reviews.

Well it's a good thing I waited because NO ONE has the game in today, when it's suppose to be re-released. I tried Target, Walmart, Gamestop and Bestbuy.
