Get ready to buy Tetris... again

You played it on the Game Boy, downloaded it for the PC, and thought it didn't get any better than Tetris DS.   You may have thought wrong.  Siliconera reports on Hudson's upcoming release of Tetris on WiiWare in Japan.  The standard game modes are all represented, along with a very interesting variation, pictured below.  Co-op Tetris, with a shared score and extra large playing field?  Sign us up!  This could be the greatest co-op gaming experience of all time, or, it might bring an end to gamers' friendships across the globe.  If Tetris is released for WiiWare in the US and other regions, you can bet that many will plunk up the coin to buy one more version of this timeless classic.
