For those who have played other Contra games, C3 and Hard Corps especially, there's some issues with level design. First off, there is indeed a hoverbike level, and the flow of the level maps closely to the C3 hoverbike, but in the sea instead of on land. It's nowhere near as robust as C3. Second, no missile-jumping sequence; no doubt there are many who will mourn the lack of a missile-jumping sequence, like C3's boss on the hoverbike level. Third, less walls and poles in this game, and those were the best parts of C3 and Hard Corps.
