Online Co-Op: Co-Op Play is available over the internet or an online service like Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. Each player needs their own system, game, and internet connection.

Couch Co-Op: Couch or Local Co-Op allows players to use one copy of the game with multiple controllers to play co-op. This includes both split screen play and same screen play. Couches are not required.

SplitScreen: The TV is split into multiple screens so each co-op player gets their own viewpoint. The screen could be split vertically or horizontally.

LAN or Systemlink: Co-Op Play is available over a Local Network or System Link Connection. Most likely a router will be required, but you may use a crossover cable in some cases.

Drop-In/Drop-Out: Players can join or leave a cooperative game session at anytime without disrupting an existing player's game.

The Co-Op Experience: Bring a buddy along as a henchmen through the single player story. Experience and gold earned as a henchmen will carry over to your own single player game.
The host player is able to set how much gold and renown their henchmen gets.
The unique aspect of the online mode is it displays orbs floating around your world that represent exactly where your friends are in the game that are currently playing. Simply walk up to an orb and invite a friend in, in a completely seamless experience.

Set 500 years after the original game, Fable 2 offers even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose.

Not for co-op, but for single player.

Single player is just wonderful, but given this site's skew I must give a thumbs down to Fable II.

The Co-op is just horribly broken, it should only be used to get a handful of achievements that require a friend.

What happened to the creepy, but awesome classical pieces like those on Fable? Option scrolling is a major disappointment, plus looking at maps. Pressing pause every 5 seconds can be redundant, in fact it still is. Enjoyed the game nonetheless, nice adventure, good freedom to do whatever you please. Recommend only for fanboys.

The game is really fun as SINGLE player
Tho the bad thing there are a few storyline break glitches who let you up starting over.. which is most annoying.

As multiplayer i did
:back to dashboard
cd out
putted Gears 2 in
Players gear 2 multiplayer
Its oneo f the worst becouse you even not have a splitscreen!
But after all its a fun game.
Nice you can still play after doing the main story quest to.

it's a good game, the only thing i really have a problem with is the camera in 2-player the "henchmen" don't bother me u get ur gold an EX anyway but the camera makes it 2 hard 2 see where you're going so i give it a 3 out of 5 stars 4 and 1/2 outta 5 for single player

i like it i mean it may be bad co-op and the most awesome most magnificent single player RPG ever but at least they got somthing in there if you get bored... ya know?

Thanks for clarifying the split screen co-op issue. I was going to get the game even if two people couldn't play on the same Xbox, but knowing that it's possible make we want the game even more. I've heard and read so much awesome stuff about this game.
