Number of Players: 4 players are available for co-op play in this game. This is the highest maximum number available for a specific mode. See chart for details.

Online Co-Op: Co-Op Play is available over the internet or an online service like Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. Each player needs their own system, game, and internet connection.

Couch Co-Op: Couch or Local Co-Op allows players to use one copy of the game with multiple controllers to play co-op. This includes both split screen play and same screen play. Couches are not required.

SplitScreen: The TV is split into multiple screens so each co-op player gets their own viewpoint. The screen could be split vertically or horizontally.

LAN or Systemlink: Co-Op Play is available over a Local Network or System Link Connection. Most likely a router will be required, but you may use a crossover cable in some cases.

Drop-In/Drop-Out: Players can join or leave a cooperative game session at anytime without disrupting an existing player's game.

Little Big Planet isn't so much a game as it is an interactive community playground. In fact, I don't even know how to begin to describe it. The game is whatever players make it to be. With up to 4 players working together to solve puzzles, build worlds, compete in races, and more; LBP is an incredibly ambitious title.

I have this game it is pretty good actualy, worth the money espesialy since you can create your own levels and play like millions of levels that other users did create

AND CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE CHANGE SO IT SAYS THAT YOU CAN PLAY ONLINE WITH SPLIT SCREEN. because you can mix players how much you want online and offline and mix. Like 1 people there and 2 people there and 1 guy there. And you can play up to 4 people online so 3 is at ur house and one is at the other side of the world.

But it is not split screen (multiple screens) even if it is online. You all share same screen I think.

Great game for local co-op. Online co-op with strangers works pretty well, but one person has control over which level is played so there is a leader and follower relationship. The game is tricky and some of the levels are frustratingly difficult. I have gotten most of the collectables from the story mode and after I get the rest I'm not sure if the user created levels are enough to make me keep the game. If one gets into the user creation stuff I think this game shows its true value. Otherwise, it is a decent, if floaty, platformer, with tons of personality.

I first played LBP with my fiance and thought it was a blast. Then I played with with my 14-year-old and her friend and it was even more fun. This weekend, we played it with a friend's 12- and 7-year old kids. It was a freaking laugh riot. This has really been one of the very few games I've found where age and gaming skill level don't matter. Everyone has had fun with it. Even though the 7-year-old had some problems with the trickier platforming sections, the many frequent respawn points meant the rest of us could get through a hard part, then she could join back in. LPB succeeds on so many levels. Graphically, it takes side scrolling platformers to a new level. The gameplay execution is near flawless. The music and sound dead perfect for the game. The only knock on it, for me, is that the included campaign is rather short. The user created levels can certainly extend play for many months to come, but I appreciate the multiple levels spanning a theme that the designers made. This is a must buy for coop players, especially those with kids.

Wouldn't miss it.
A good way to determine, I think. . . Two questions. 1) Have you played Mass Effect 1 or 2? 2) If yes to 1, did you enjoy it? Si
