Online Co-Op: Co-Op Play is available over the internet or an online service like Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. Each player needs their own system, game, and internet connection.

Couch Co-Op: Couch or Local Co-Op allows players to use one copy of the game with multiple controllers to play co-op. This includes both split screen play and same screen play. Couches are not required.

SplitScreen: The TV is split into multiple screens so each co-op player gets their own viewpoint. The screen could be split vertically or horizontally.

LAN or Systemlink: Co-Op Play is available over a Local Network or System Link Connection. Most likely a router will be required, but you may use a crossover cable in some cases.

Drop-In/Drop-Out: Players can join or leave a cooperative game session at anytime without disrupting an existing player's game.

The Co-Op Experience: Co-op play allows players to play as a member of the Ghostbuster team through online missions different from the single player story. Money and Equipment are persistent from game to game. The following modes are available. Instant Action: players can test their mettle in a variety of Job Types across a selection of 12 different maps to see if they've got what it takes to be a true Ghostbuster.

  1. Survival: Survive a paranormal onslaught
  2. Containment: Capture all the ghosts
  3. Destruction: Eliminate mysterious artefacts to prevent spawning ghosts
  4. Protection: Protect Egon's devices
  5. Thief: Save the artefacts from being stolen by ghosts
  6. Slime Dunk: Dunk the most Slimers

    Campaign Mode: players work through one of four different environments busting ghosts to earn cash and upgrade their equipment.

12 maps across 4 themed environments:
  1. Library
  2. Streets
  3. Cemetery
  4. Museum

    Background: The Ghostbusters are back in an all-new story penned by the original creators, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis! With Manhattan newly overrun by ghosts and other supernatural creatures, it's up to you to take on the role of a new recruit joining the original film cast of the famous Ghostbusters team. Equipped with a variety of unique weapons and gadgets, you will hunt, fight and capture a wide range of uncanny phantasms and demons in an all new funny and frightening battle to save New York City from its latest paranormal plague. Just remember to not cross the streams!

Loved the game, especially the multiplayer modes. If only it was co-op for the story, same console, or at least LAN'd, this game would be perfect. Now all they need to do is rename it - Ghostbusters 3. :)

Im glad that ghostbusters was redone the way it was. It turned out great and is very very entertaining to play with friends. =D Surprisingly enough you can always find a room with people who know how to work as a team.

You would think they would patch the USB port stuff.. Its just silly to have to unplug stuff that you usually just leave plugged
