Just want to give another thumbs up to this, now patch 1.5 is out.
Patches/maps are free for the pc, and add new levels to nazi zombies which is a must have for LAN.
Custom maps are now better (look for dead sand).
Get this!

I just recently started playing this game after buying for half price on Steam and it works just fine.

Numerous people seem to be having trouble with the disc version of the game, so just download it off steam and everything will just work like it's bloody magic.

Very buggy game as of patch 1.5. Many reports of gamers being unable to play at all, but very few official fixes from Treyarch, at least until patch 1.6 comes out. In addition, there are no dedicated servers for online co-op or Nazi Zombies mode, making co-op play often laggy and unstable. You're better off getting the game for the consoles, until they patch the game properly anyways.

An all round great game. Definitly one to get.
15 missions, each one enjoyable.
Co-op scoring system and challenges which add to the replay value, including death cards to be found, which unlock certain cheats.
Lots of arsenal, and a tank mission. Able to revive dead team-mates.
There is also a mini game called Nazi Zombies, you're and a friend are stuck in a house and have to hold them off.

If you have cracked game, search for a lan co-op fix.

Filled with bugs. 2 days of screwing around with nvidia drivers (brand new nvidia card) - have to download 318 mb patch to patch to 1.1 so that you can SEE the online servers to play online. Go to play coop - yeah right. I bought 4 copies of this game. 3 work alright - the 4th can only play MP and when he goes to play coop - he gets the "please insert correct DVD" error. THERE IS NO FIX FOR THIS atm - activision have not even responded to this issue. Patch 1.2 is due to be released soon BUT it does not address the "insert DVD" error. In Australia we paid $100 for this game - so i've spent $400 on a game that is complete RUBBISH...
